Missel offers a complete insulation system for solid media noise transmission through heating, wastewater and potable water systems that achieves a noise level of less than 24 dB.
It is made from closed cell polyethylene foam reinforced with a padded fiber layer protected with a tear resistant mesh. This material withstands torsion and compression, provides a constant depth of insulation at all points —including couplings between pipes— and prevents contact between the pipe and mortar, plaster or concrete, eliminating the risk of acoustic bridges.
The different prefabricated elements that make up the system are: couplings and flexible insulated pipe for piping and pipe connections, one-piece molded jackets for concealed cisterns and compact rectangular section couplings for hot water piping and under floor heating. The system includes quick fastening elements for rapid installation.
The company also offers a system for soundproofing bathtubs and showers including adjustable supports and acoustic rails.
Soundproofing pipes. The system achieves a noise level of less than 24 dBA.
The couplings come with reinforced seals and integrated closers that greatly facilitate assembly.
Composition of insulation:
A- Tear resistant mesh.
B- Padded layer of needle-punched fiber.
C- Corrugated closed cell polyethylene foam.
The soundproofing supports can be used for both steel and acrylic bathtubs. The acoustic rails permit the acoustic decoupling of the bathtub while insuring its support.
