Insulation/ Acoustical treatments/ Acoustic absorption for walls & ceilings
Sonaspray is a spray-on mortar that improves spatial acoustics by absorbing sound waves and reducing reverberation time. By varying the thickness of the mortar coating, we can adjust the level of sound attenuation.
Sonaspray is applied onto a 2 to 3 mm layer of adhesive. The spray system promotes a quick application, without any seams or cracks. Sonaspray can be used on vertical and horizontal surfaces of any type of material, such as metal, concrete, plaster and wood. The product’s composition regulates condensation and its lightweight consistency does not burden the building’s structure.
Sonaspray is available in 8 standard colours but can be ordered in any RAL colour.
The product is available in two variations, an industrial line (SonasprayST (K-13), ST-TR (K-13), SP (K-13) y SP-TR (K-13)) and an aesthetic line (SonasprayFC, FC-TR Y FCX FCX-TR). The difference is mainly in the grain, texture and look of the finished product. In addition, the industrial line (K-13) can be used not only as sound insulation but also as thermal insulation.
The technical characteristics vary depending on the Sonaspray variant used and the thickness of the coating. A 16 mm thick layer of Sonaspray ST hasa sound insulation coefficient of 0.10/ 0.40/ 0.90/ 0.95/ 1.00/ 1.00, for frequencies of 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz.
