Uretek Deep Injections® system can quickly and definitively solve problems related to soil capacity. Soils are treated by the injection of Geoplus® expansive polymers through metal tubes into perforations with a diameter of less than 3 cm. Since the perforations are drilled through the building foundation, the volume of soil to be treated is easily accessible. The rapidity of the polymer's expansion and solidification reaction precludes treatment of soil at more than 2 metres from the injection point, limiting the pressure bulb to that distance. The expansion of the polymer continues until the treated ground is sufficiently compacted and it rejects increased compression, forcing the polymer to expand upward, causing the building to rise and indicating that the all voids have been filled and the soil is completely compacted. This system is suitable for all types of soils, both granular and cohesive, and for all types of foundations: spread footings, strip footings and foundation slabs of any material type.

A- Level indicated by laser.
B- Perforations of ø12-16 mm.
C- Injections on three levels.

Geoplus® resins can develop expansion pressure up to 10.000 kPa.

1- Perforation.
2- Installation of tubes.
3- Injection of polymers and monitoring of uplift with a laser level.
4- The tubes are cut off level with the paving or slab.
