Equitone are fibre cement panels, (cement reinforced with synthetic fibres), suitable for ventilated facades. They are resistant to corrosion, the majority of chemical agents, ultraviolet radiation, weathering, freezing and impact. They are durable, non-combustible, rot-proof (resistant to fungus, bacteria, insects, parasites, etc.) and permeable to water vapour. They are only 8 and 12 mm thick and can be produced in large formats up to 3100 x 1250 mm. They are light, weighing only 15 kg/m². They can be easily manipulated, permitting the fabrication of special patterns, die-cutting, etc. They are available in different models:
—Tectiva, with transparent protection, leaving the actual appearance of the material visible. The surface has a fine, sanded texture and small white specks. Permits the use of different types of fasteners: screws, rivets, adhesive material, etc. The panels can also be overlapped.
—Natura, finished with a semi-transparent acrylic dispersion on its visible face that comes in different colours. The back surface has an anti-dampness acrylic coating.
—Natura Pro, similar to Natura but with an additional, transparent acrylic anti-graffiti coating.
—Pictura, with a coloured surface treatment. The finish is matte and anti-graffiti.
—Textura, with a granulated texture. Comes in sizes up to 3100 x 1800 mm in the same thicknesses.
