Turber, a company specializing in ceramic products, offers self-supporting, thermally broken shutterboxes that are insulated with expanded polystyrene. Different models are available, depending on the type of shutter they house:
-Rolling shutters: models Zetu-RKO (open at the base) and Zetu-RKG (semi-closed). These elements are 30 cm tall and are fabricated to fit into walls with a depth of 30, 36.5, 42.5 or 49 cm. They incorporate all of the mechanisms necessary for proper functioning (axle, bearings, etc.) and can be stuccoed over directly, as they include an aluminium trim profile and a grooved surface to achieve better adhesion.
-Venetian blinds: model Zetu-Ziegel-Jalousiekasten is 32 cm tall and is fabricated in the same wall depths as the previous model, with similar finishes.
Turber also offers a special element to house the shutter strap.
