Hicotherm™ is a heating system based on an extra-thin sheet of PET reinforced with carbon fiber, which converts the electrical current transmitted by bands of copper on its sides into heat. It can be used on any wall or floor surface and can be covered with any inorganic material (stone, stucco tiles, etc.), as well as many organic materials (wood, cork, plastic, PVC, etc.), as long as the material can support temperatures up to 60º C and does not have a thermal resistance greater than 0.15 m²K/W. To make better use of energy, installation on surfaces free of furniture is recommended, as well as the use of thermal insulation backing to reduce heat loss into the support surface. With certain limitations, the sheet can be drilled after installation. Three models are available; Hicotherm™ 220/110 (heating) and Hicotherm™ 60 (preheating of rooms or treatment for building pathologies), where the model number indicates the output in W/m². The sheet is 600 mm wide, 0.1 mm thick, and comes in lengths between 0.8 and 6.75 m. It operates at 24 V.
