The Architecture Tenara® membrane by Sefar® is made with PTFE fabric exclusively coated with a flexible fluoropolymer. It can be welded, repels dirt, and is resistant to water and UV rays. In contrast to fiberglass or PVC membranes, it can be folded and unfolded repeatedly without losing strength and without tearing. making it particularly suitable for retractable fabric roofs. Two models are available with different degrees of transparency: 4T20HF, transmiting 19% of incident light, and 4T40HF, transmiting 38%. Both weigh 1080 g/m², have a warp|woof tensile strength of 4000|4000 N/50 mm and a tear resistance of 798|798 N. They are manufactured dimesnions are 1.575 m in width and 0.55 mm thick, and in white is their standard color. They have a Euroclass B-s1,d0 fire rating.
