The Hypoplan® radiant wall heating and cooling system uses copper's high thermal conductivity (390 W/mK) to circulate hot water through copper modules embedded in the plaster wall finish, which absorbs calorific energy and radiates it into the room. The modules consist of bent and preassembled ρ10 mm copper pipe. For installations in drywall partitions, pipes equipped with self-adhering copper fins are used; the fins increase thermal transmission. The system can be used with plaster, lime, cement, clay and mixed wall finishes with a thickness of 17-20 mm. In the summer, the system can be used for cooling, circulating water chilled to a temperature slightly cooler than the space (roughly 15º C).
The system is suitable for installations using condensation technology and renewable energy sources (geothermal systems, solar panels), thanks to very low return temperatures that result in a high degree of efficiency.
