Eurolight is a very thick, strong and lightweight board suitable for interior cabinetry. It consists of a honeycomb cardboard core finished on both sides with a particle board sheet, 3, 4 or 8 mm thick. The core consists of a hexagonal grid on 15 mm centers. Eurolight® is made in a standard size of 2800 x 2070 mm and with the following finishes and thicknesses:
Unfinished or with a prime coat, available in thicknesses of 38, 50 and 60 mm.
With a melamine finish, available in minimum thicknesses of 3 mm.
The 8 mm layer of melamine allows edge finishing to be fastened directly to the board, without requiring a frame, and using conventional fastening systems.
By special order, Eurolight can be made in a 5610 x 2070 mm board, in thicknesses from 15 to 100 mm, finished in particle board or MDF of various thicknesses. The boards can be fitted with a perimeter frame, and admit different options for their edging, mechanical shaping and transformation.
