This heating and cooling system uses capillary tubes, forming a network of flexible tubes, 2 to 3 mm in diameter and spaced 10 to 15 mm apart, that are embedded in walls, ceilings or floors. It produces an exceptionally even surface temperature. The system uses moderate water temperatures, from 15 to 17º C for cooling and 30 to 35º C for heating. it can be installed in various ways:
-In accessible suspended ceilings, the networks of capillary tubes are fixed to the inside face of the ceiling tiles and protected with black rubber insulation. They can be used in any Movinord metal ceiling.
-In plaster-finished ceilings and walls, the networks are attached directly to the structural slab or wall. They are connected to the supply lines and covered with the finish coat of plaster without increasing its thickness.
-Over gypsum board fixed to metal studs or framing.
-In combination with metal fabric suspended ceilings, a highly efficient climate control solution.
Installed in radiant floors, the system permits very thin mortar beds.
