Curtainwall/ventilated wall system whose exposed elements are made exclusively from terracotta. This was the requirement imposed by Renzo Piano to the development team at NBK for his Potsdamer Platz design. The elements are always produced individually for each project in the colour and shape desired by the customer. Product range:
—Terrart® Large. Elements can be adjusted individually to a max. length of 1,800 mm and a maximum width of 800 mm, with a thickness of 40 mm.
—Terrart® Mid. Max. dimensions: 1,400 x 300 x 30 mm.
—Terrart® Shingle, with a sloped surface and max. dimensions of 1,800 x 300 x 25/40 mm.
The system components are so versatile that they can adjust to the widest tolerances in steel, aluminum and ceramic, providing wide design opportunities.
—Terrart® Solid, solid ceramic elements, without hollow chambers. Max. dimensions: 1,200 x 600 x 20/30 mm.
